Ketu South: Some’tutuza (Festival) Officially Launched At Adafienu Batekorme

The Sometutuza festival has been officially launched today for the people of the Some Traditional Area at Adafienu Batekorme.

Present at the ceremony were Torgbui Adama III, the Paramount Chief of the Some Traditional Council, Divisional Chiefs, sub chiefs, H.E Bright Kumordzie, Deputy Ambassador to the Republic of Togo, and other dignitaries.

The main celebration of the festival is set for the last Saturday in September 2026 at Agbozume.

Torgbui Adama III has invited all citizens of Some, both home and abroad, to come home and celebrate this year’s festival.

The launch marks the beginning of activities leading up to the grand durbar in Agbozume.
